Coding & Compliance Manager

Kimberly Chase is the Coding & Compliance Manager at HSC Medical Billing & Consulting, LLC. She has over 25 years of experience working in the healthcare industry, where she has attained an expansive knowledge of medical billing, auditing, and compliance regulations. Kimberly is responsible for managing the compliance program, training staff, performing claim audits, and staying abreast of changes to coding guidelines and payer reimbursement policies. She is also responsible for communicating updates and educating providers and staff on pertinent topics, including proactively monitoring the latest emerging cybersecurity concerns and trends.

After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in education from the University of Southern Indiana, Kimberly moved to Downers Grove, IL and began her career in healthcare working as an Insurance Specialist and Claims Auditor. Upon her return to Evansville, she continued to broaden her knowledge of the industry as an Administrative Director for an outpatient clinic at St. Vincent/Ascension Health and at Harrison College and Ross Medical Education Center as a Coding Instructor and Medical Program Coordinator.
