Published weekly, this is our source for important firm news, updates, and current information. This also includes employee action items, health and wellness programs and any department related information.
Monthly Newsletter
Published once a month, the employee newsletter is the place to go for the important news of the day from new employee, wedding, and birth announcements, to updates on clients and charitable activities.
Kudos Program
Employees are encouraged to acknowledge their peers in a regular – and meaningful – way by submitting positive feedback through our online system.
Innovation Team & HSC INoV8 System
Our Innovation Team established the INoV8 process to give all employees the opportunity to submit innovative ideas which are reviewed and considered by the Innovation Committee. In addition, the team holds pop-up innovation breaks and innovation summits to gather and implement employee ideas. Many of our current practices have come about through this process.
Continual Feedback & Development
HSC believes that feedback – positive and constructive – is a must to help employees be more successful. The Firm encourages continual feedback through its 360 Evaluations, and Mentor and Career Advisor programs.
Profit Sharing & 401(k)
Immediately upon hire, employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) Plan. After one year of service, the plan allows for both a company match and a potential profit-sharing contribution.

Financial Wellness
Throughout the year, we offer onsite training and educational sessions on retirement and financial planning. Individual sessions with our 401(k) plan advisors are offered as well.

Team members whose responsibilities, position, and work performance allow them to be effective & efficient while working remotely, may do so when team/client/training/firm needs allow.
Summer Hours
From Memorial Day through Labor Day, the Firm closes at noon on Fridays.
Winter Break
The Firm closes, from December 24 – January 2 for winter break to enjoy the Holidays.
Alternative Work Schedule
Team members who are interested in a less than full-time career can request a reduced work schedule.
Busy-Season Perks
We frequently provide catered dinners for employees who work late, healthy snacks, and treats during the day with breakfast on Saturday’s. We provide professional chair massages on site.
Flex Saturdays
To help with work-life balance during busy season, Saturday work hours are left to the employees’ discretion to meet their required hours while ensuring timely and exceptional client service.
Annual HSC Firm Summit
The day is kicked off with the State of the Firm, followed by celebrating HSCU graduate, promotions and anniversaries.
Company Picnic
The entire Firm takes a day off to come together to enjoy a day of sunshine (most of the time) and good spirits.
Family Outings
Family time is important to HSC. Each year, we invite employees and their families to gatherings.
Christmas Party
On the first Friday of December, employees and their spouse or guest gather for an evening of food and fun to celebrate the holiday season.
April 15th Party
After the hard work of busy season, employees in each office gather to celebrate with a theme party complete with costumes, door prizes, great food, and good times!
Departmental Retreat
Each year, employees gather as a department with the intention to work, to play and to strengthen team relationships.
Culture Connections
Small cross-functional groups of employees are treated to lunches where they meet and learn more about fellow employees as well as other departments.
Showing Our Company Spirit
Employees earn Spirit Dollars throughout the year through various activities. Spirit Dollars can be used in the online Spirit Store to purchase clothing, Yeti cups, and other HSC Branded items.
