The Brackets for Good Louisville Tournament tipped-off last Friday, and round one of the competitive giving tournament is underway. In its second year in Louisville, Brackets for Good (BFG) has invited 64 nonprofit organizations to compete in a bracket-style fundraising campaign. To advance in the tournament, the nonprofits score 1 point for every $1 raised. The winner will receive a $10,000 Championship Donation in addition to keeping all donations raised throughout the six-week tournament.
There are some great match-ups in the Harding Shymanski Division. Among the organizations, there are names many will recognize and others that are less well known. Brackets for Good not only helps raise much-needed funds, but also helps to raise awareness for nonprofit organizations of all sizes in the Louisville community. The BFG organizers hope to introduce new and veteran donors to a variety of groups who need assistance.
With three days left before Round 1 closes, now is the time to get in the game and support your favorite organization.
